Does genuine honor, truth, integrity, fair balance, true and equal justice....

N,

"... Just finished reading Sons Of Camelot, The Fate of an American Dynasty... much of today's Kennedy generation (the baby boomers and Generation Xers) are at odds with each other and the legacy of views and actions of their fathers' John and Robert,(or at least with what the public of the 60s preceived as their motivation and legacy).

Read of Doug Kennedy, reporter for Fox News and he is or appears far more honest, forthright and genuine than all his brothers and cousins.

There is an interesting turn of thoughts, ideas and a germ of truth in what I read of all of them so far. The public is so deluded and so enarmoured of the past heroic vision that was supposed bright and shiny. The values have gotten all distorted and convoluted with the framework of history. No one is clean.

My mind just went to thinking of Lancelot and the supposed Knights of the Roundtable. Perhaps as a whole they and what they represented could be called "Idealism", a real and genuine sense of being where honor, truth, integrity, fair balance, true and equal justice, goodness and purity of motivation dwells. Can it exist? Or are we doomed to dwell in the squalor of halfs because of our human nature, always wanting to do be and do our best, but needing to satisfy our insatiable hunger and desire to have and know the forbidden, the goodies outside the box. ..."
